The purpose of the Cosmetology training division is to prepare students to earn their licenses from the Florida State Board of Cosmetology. Our cosmetology training incorporates all of the state requirements and industry-related skills into a warm, friendly, easy-going learning environment. All of the students training for cosmetology careers will study a variety of subjects including:
- Bacteriology
- Environmental Issues
- Professional Ethics
- Salon Management
- Advanced Techniques and Trends
The Department of Labor says that the average income for a worker with a technical certificate is double that of a high school graduate. With that in mind, students will learn and practice their skills in our state-of-the art training facilities while training for cosmetology careers that include:
- Hairdresser/Cosmetologist
- Facials Specialist
- Manicurist
- Barber
