LEED Green Associate Prep Classes
The Broward Technical Centers introduce their new Green Ready Building Certification program for those who want to sit for the Green Associate exam offered by the USGBC and the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). The Green Associate credentials denote a basic knowledge of green design, construction and operations for those interested in the LEED rating. The GBCI has developed new criteria for those who want to sit for the exam and one of the criteria is “engagement in (or completion of) an educational program that addresses green building principles”. This course will be offered at various locations to those who want to demonstrate green building expertise in non-technical fields of practice.
(Please note: the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC®) or the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), did not participate in the development of these courses. The Broward Tech Centers do not administer the LEED® AP program or LEED Green Building Rating System. LEED and USGBC are registered trademarks of the U.S. Green Building Council.)
